The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40

Valley Vegas Church is very active in going outside the walls of the church, bringing hope to the poor, hungry, and lonely in this world.  Here are some of the ways Valley is reaching out!

If you would like to get involved in one of these outreach ministries, or perhaps you have a vision for an outreach that we can do as a church, contact Russell Hoyt.

Adopt-A-Block meets the second and forth Saturday of each month. The purpose of Adopt-A-Block is to show love to the neighborhood around our church in practical ways, such as delivering free groceries, helping with home projects, praying for the sick, and playing games with the children. Adopt-A-Block meets at 9AM in the church sanctuary and then heads on in groups to the surrounding neighborhoods and finishes by noon.

If you would like to join our next Adopt-A-Block Outreach, check out our events page, or call the church office.

On the first Sunday of each month, Valley serves the dinner to both  the overnight residents and the folks enrolled in the Rescue Mission Rehabilitation program.

The Shannon West Center is a facility located in downtown Las Vegas that offers free housing for homeless youth (ages 16 – 25).  Each month, Valley Vegas provides a dinner and a service for the youth staying at the center.  At this service, we are able to share testimonies and pray for the youth.  If you would like to become part of our Shannon West Outreach team, please take a moment and fill out our ministry questionnaire.  (click here)

Valley Vegas Church is a ministry partner with Three-Square Food Distribution of Las Vegas. If you are a church member and would like to volunteer to help us distribute the food and pray for the families that come out, please email us at info@valleyvegas.org and one of our team members will be in touch with you with more information.

We assemble brown bag meals so our church attenders can distribute them to the poor & hungry throughout the week on their own.

Once a year, we do an all-church serve day and go out into all areas of the city performing a variety of service projects. It is wonderful to see what a difference we can make in the lives of those around us when we come together!

In October of 2009, VBF  Las Vegas went out to begin a new chapter as we took our outreach overseas. We have taken on a new ministry with a school and orphanage in Zambia. Once a year we send a team to Zambia and fulfill the needs of the children, the school, and to provide hope and encouragement to the Pastors and Leaders of the school. We are very blessed and so excited to have the opportunity to be apart of this community and bring the Kingdom of God to the other side of the world.
